The Governors of Northway Infant School are seeking to appoint a School Administrator 30 hours and a part time Finance & Personnel Administrator 10 hours. These are 2 separate posts and will be part of the reorganisation of the school office following the departure of our administrator who is relocating out of county. These are permanent. These are to start as soon as possible.
The School Administrator will provide effective administration of the school office, and to be responsible for all aspects of school administration relating to the pupils, data management and some areas of finance as well as providing full secretarial and administrative support for the Headteacher and teaching staff to aid in the smooth running of our school.
The successful applicant should ideally have experience of working in a school environment. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with strong organisational and administrative abilities. They should have some financial experience, and will need to be IT literate and have experience in, or a commitment to learn about, SIMS and other standard Office 365 packages.
The Finance and Personnel Assistant will manage the financial and personnel aspects of school life and assist the Headteacher and Governors driving ambition for school. They will develop and maintain systems that will enable the school to report on and manage budgets as well as providing full support for the Headteacher and teaching staff to aid in the smooth running of our school.
The successful candidate will need to support the school’s welcoming, by providing an efficient and friendly welcome to parents and all other visitors to the school. We will offer you any required training and the chance to work in a happy school environment where team working is essential.
